Job summary

Angels Care Home Health seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. PTAs implement selected components of patient interventions and treatments in home care settings.

Qualified candidates have a CAPTE-accredited PTA education, current unrestricted PTA license, valid driver's license, CPR certification, and reliable transportation; experience in home health is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current unrestricted PTA license.
• Current unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Experience as required by state board for home care.
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment for PT.
• Proof of CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation with auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services under supervision of licensed PT.

• Works in patients' homes as part of home health care.
