Job summary

Boost Home Healthcare in Colorado is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to provide physician-prescribed home health physical therapy. You will work with patients to improve mobility, reduce residual disabilities, and help return them to their highest functional level.

The role requires an approved PTA degree, active licensure in Colorado, and preferably one year of home health experience. This PRN to part-time position offers flexible day shifts, competitive pay, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate in a PTA program approved by CAC-EOE/ APTA or related accrediting bodies.
• Currently licensed in the state practicing (Colorado).
• One year home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician-prescribed physical therapy in patients’ homes.
• Improve or minimize residual physical disabilities for patients.
• Help return patients to optimum and productive levels within their capabilities.
• Collaborate with home care team on patient care planning.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide physician prescribed physical therapy.
• Improve or minimize residual physical disabilities of the patient.
• Return the individual to optimum and productive level within the patient’s capability.
• Participate with all other home care personnel in patient care planning.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• Graduate with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in physical therapy Assistant from a physical therapist curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education, American Physical Therapy Association, or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and American Physical Therapy Association.
• Currently licensed in the state in which practicing
• One (1) year experience preferred in a home health setting

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)

Job Type and Pay

PRN to Part-time

• $38-45/hr
• Up to 20 hours a week
