Job summary

Boost Home Healthcare - North Shore (MA) seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to provide physician-prescribed therapy in a home health setting. The role focuses on improving mobility and reducing disabilities, enabling patients to recover at home.

Licensed PTA in the practicing state is required, with 1 year of home health experience preferred. Schedule is PRN to part-time, with daytime hours and potential for advancement within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in physical therapy Assistant from a PTA curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education, American Physical Therapy Association, or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and American Physical Therapy Association.
• Currently licensed in the state in which practicing
• One (1) year experience preferred in a home health setting

Responsibilities

• Provide physician prescribed physical therapy.
• Improve or minimize residual physical disabilities of the patient.
• Return the individual to optimum and productive level within the patient’s capability.
• Participate with all other home care personnel in patient care planning.

Schedule

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
• Weekends as needed

Job Type And Pay

PRN to Part-time

• $38-45/hr
• Up to 20 hours a week

Compensation: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
