Job summary

Healthcare Rehabilitation Center in Fort Collins, CO seeks a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join the in-house therapy team. The PTA will implement treatment plans under supervision, communicate progress, and contribute to discharge summaries and billing in a midsize geriatric facility.

You will work with a seasoned clinical team in a setting with low staffing ratios, focusing on high-quality care for long-term residents.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA with ability to work under a Physical Therapist.
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
• Experience documenting treatment notes and progress.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients according to the plan of care developed by and under the supervision of the Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, concerns, and plans.
• Be proficient in therapeutic needs to treat patients based on their presentation and instructions given by the Physical Therapist.
• Participate in patient Plan of care meetings if asked by the Director of Rehab.
• Record treatment notes, progress notes, provide input for discharge summaries and daily billing per policy.

Our family owned and operated long term care facilitator is seeking a compassionate and well versedPhysical Therapy Assistant for consideration to add to the inhouse therapy team a midsize facility situated in Northern Colorado, amongst Larimer County. This building is home to a diverse group of long-term residents, cared for by seasoned staff with low staffing ratios, who are stewarded by a well-equipped clinical team and Administrator with years of experience in the geriatric field.

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct our facility's Physical Therapy Services in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be always maintained.
