Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in CO or eligibility via compact licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
• Accurately document resident evaluations, treatments and progress notes.
• Assist residents in achieving rehabilitation goals and improving function.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to provide quality care.
• Follow state and federal regulations governing therapy services.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures and clinical standards.
• Promote resident safety, independence and quality of life through individualized treatment plans.
