Job summary

Willow Tree Post Acute is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab team in Topeka, KS. You will work across skilled nursing, assisted living, and outpatient settings to help seniors regain quality of life and independence.

A caring, dynamic PTA with strong communication skills will thrive here. You’ll treat patients under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, document progress, and participate in care planning.

Qualifications

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and assist in facilitating our Physical Therapy Services in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be always maintained.

Pay $30-$38 p/hr Pay Based on experience.

PTA- Jobs and Responsibilities:

• Treat patients according to the treatment plan of care developed by and under the supervision of the Licensed Physical Therapist.

• Communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, concerns, and plans.

• Be proficient in therapeutics needs to treat patients based on their presentation and instructions given by the Physical Therapist

• Participate in patient Plan of care meetings if asked by the Director of Rehab.

• Record treatment notes, progress notes, provide objective input for discharge summaries and complete daily billing of services per policy and procedures.

• Adherence to the Required practice acts, code of conduct, ethics during professional practice as an Physical Therapy Assistant

• Adherence to Company requires policy, procedures and code of conduct.

• Possess an Active State Licensure or certification
