We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Primary Care Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a valuable member of our healthcare staff, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed physical therapists in delivering exceptional care to our homebound patients. PTA role performs visits in homes, ALF's, and ILF's. This is a salary-based position, with the opportunity to receive a monthly bonus. This is a full-time 8-hour position (8:00AM-5:00PM) (Monday-Friday).

What Are We Looking For?

Your Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing primary care team. As a PTA, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide rehabilitative services to patients suffering from injuries or disabilities. Primary responsibilities include assisting in treatment plan implementation, conducting exercises, educating patients on proper techniques, and documenting progress. You will develop individualized treatment plans, instruct and assist patients, monitor sessions, and ensure a clean, organized environment. Communication with healthcare professionals and assisting in discharge planning are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA in the practicing state.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Compassion and empathy for patients.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Pelvic Health Experience and/or interest.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a PTA.
• Specialized training or certification in orthopedics, pelvic health, neurology, or geriatrics.
• Proficiency in EMR systems.
• Bilingual in English and another language common in the area.
