San Bernardino County is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to administer individually planned therapy programs for inpatient rehabilitation at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA.
The ideal candidate will hold a California PTA license, maintain BLS certification, and have 1+ year of in-patient PTA experience. Bilingual skills are encouraged and may command additional compensation. The role offers excellent benefits and a supportive county environment.
San Bernardino County is looking for Physical Therapy Assistants whowill administer individually planned therapy programs for the physical rehabilitation of patients. Duties include administering selective treatments which may involve application of modalities, therapeutic exercises, and activities; assisting therapy staff with modalities; providing patient education; observing patient reactions to treatments and reporting unusual occurrences or reactions of patients to Physical Therapists.

Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. BLS Certificate: Physical Therapy Assistant incumbents must possess and maintain a valid Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the America Heart Association. Verification of a valid certificate must be provided within 30 days of the hire/start date, or conditional job offer may be rescinded.

Applicants must meet BOTH of the following LICENSE and CERTIFICATION requirements:
LICENSE: Possess and maintain a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California.
-AND- CERTIFICATION: Possess and maintain a valid Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association. (Verification of a valid certificate must be provided within 30 days of the hire/start date.)
