• Records treatment charges daily and completes tickets timely.
• Attends departmental and other meetings as required.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Follows clinical and personnel policies.
• Oversees PT aides in direct patient care and related activities.

We are currently seeking patient-focused individuals for a Physical Therapy Assistant position to support the Physical Therapy Department. The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for providing physical therapy treatments according to a physical therapist’s treatment plan. Communicates with supervisor and other health care interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, or plans. Records daily treatment notes, portions of monthly progress notes, and discharge summaries timely and completely. This position would be located at the Burlington Kernodle Clinic location.

All candidates must have one year of experience as Physical Therapy Assistant. Training from accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in North Carolina. One year of experience as an assistant or comparable internships preferred. AHA BLS certification required.
