Job summary

Kernodle Clinic in Burlington, NC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support the Physical Therapy Department.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure/certification as a PTA in North Carolina.
• One year of experience as a PTA or related internships preferred.
• AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT treatments according to a PT's treatment plan.
• Carries a full caseload under supervision of the primary PT.
• Builds caseload with potential to see two patients per block.
• Communicates patient progress with supervisor and care team.
• Records daily treatment notes, monthly progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Records treatment charges daily and completes tickets timely.
• Attends departmental and other meetings as required.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Follows clinical and personnel policies.
• Oversees PT aides in direct patient care and related activities.
