Job summary

Amberwell Health in Atchison seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to support inpatient, outpatient, and Home Health/Hospice services. You will perform treatments and lead exercise demonstrations under supervision to promote mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Kansas licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• BLS certification current.
• CEUs: twenty every 2 years to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments and provide exercise instruction and demonstration for patients.
• Support inpatients, outpatients, and Home Health/Hospice as part of PT services.
• Collaborate with PT staff and care teams; monitor patient safety.
• Document progress and communicate findings to supervising PT.
