Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide PRN to support therapists and assist with patient preparation and treatment. The role includes maintaining a clean department, managing supplies, and handling clerical duties as needed, under supervision.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma and BLS within 30 days of employment. This PRN position involves no travel and provides opportunities to contribute to high-quality patient care at a leading health system.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• High School Graduate or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for and assists therapists in treatment.
• Maintains the physical therapy department in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Communicates appropriate patient information to the therapy team.
• Ensures adequate stock of supplies and performs clerical duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Summary and Qualifications

This position supports the mission of The Tristar Skyline Medical Center of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. The Physical Therapy Aid, under the supervision of the manager, prepares patients for and assists therapists in treatment, and demonstrates a good working knowledge of treatment techniques. Maintains the PM Department in a clean and orderly fashion. Communicates appropriate patient information. Assures adequate stock of supplies and performs clerical duties. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
