SportsCare Physical Therapy in East Hanover, NJ is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Aide to support clinicians and help patients progress through their rehabilitation plans.

You will assist with exercises, prepare treatment areas, educate patients on movements, and help maintain a clean, safe clinic environment. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a growing outpatient practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is beneficial.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move equipment and assist patients as required.
• Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Assist with Patient Care: Provide direct support to patients during their therapy sessions, following the guidance of the physical therapist or physical therapist assistant.
• Prepare Treatment Areas: Set up treatment areas and equipment, ensuring they are clean, organized, and ready for patient use.
• Patient Education: Explain exercises, proper form, and treatment goals as directed by the clinical team.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep treatment areas, exercise equipment, and therapy rooms clean and sanitized.
• Laundry and Supplies: Assist with laundry duties and restock supplies as needed.
• Patient Records: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including tracking and documenting patient progress.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that therapy equipment is properly maintained and report issues.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with patients and team members to facilitate a smooth patient experience.
