Responsibilities

• Assist with Patient Care: Provide direct support to patients during their therapy sessions, following the guidance of the physical therapist or physical therapist assistant.
• Prepare Treatment Areas: Set up treatment areas and equipment, ensuring they are clean, organized, and ready for patient use.
• Patient Education: Explain exercises, proper form, and treatment goals as directed by the clinical team.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep treatment areas, exercise equipment, and therapy rooms clean and sanitized to maintain a safe environment.
• Laundry and Supplies: Assist with laundry duties, monitor and restock supplies as needed.
• Patient Records: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including tracking progress and adherence to exercise programs.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure therapy equipment is properly maintained and report issues to staff.
• Communication: Communicate with patients, therapists, and team members to ensure a smooth patient experience.
