Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Physical Therapy Aide to assist clinicians, greet patients, and help manage daily patient flow. You will prepare treatment areas and support patients with exercises, while gaining hands-on healthcare experience in a collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, are 18+, and bring healthcare or customer service experience. This full-time role includes training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow in PT/OT fields.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
