Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team delivering exceptional patient care. You will gain hands-on healthcare skills, receive mentorship, and contribute to patient recovery by supporting therapists and assisting with treatment setup.

You will help with patient check-ins, intake, and scheduling, while assisting in preparation of treatment areas and home exercise programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience
• Preferred: Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Preferred: Certified Personal Trainer experience
• Preferred: Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology education/experience

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling
• Effectively onboard new patients, reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs
