Job summary

Active Marin is seeking a compassionate PT Aide/Tech to join our Mill Valley team. This part-time (20 hrs/wk) aide/office assistant role offers hands-on experience in orthopedic physical therapy and sports medicine within a small, community-focused practice.

You will assist therapists, prepare spaces, and handle front-d desk tasks while expanding knowledge in outpatient care. This is a great stepping stone for careers in PT, medicine, or health-related fields.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT tech experience preferred.
• Experience with athletics, health, or wellness.
• Previous administrative and healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• One-year commitment required.
• Interest in healthcare careers such as Physical Therapy, medicine, or personal training.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with patient care including modalities and therapeutic exercise.
• Clean and prepare treatment areas and equipment.

Active Marin Physical Therapy is a dynamic practice specializing in sports medicine, wellness, and comprehensive care. We are a small practice with a strong community presence seeking a part-time (20 hrs/wk) aide/office assistant. A great opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience in a physical therapy orthopedic setting.

We are located in beautiful Mill Valley, just across the Golden Gate Bridge, surrounded by trails for biking, hiking, and running. Our 3,000 square-foot facility features an open exercise space and 6 private treatment areas.

Many of our Physical Therapy Aides are preparing for careers in physical therapy, medicine, nursing, physician assistant studies, athletic training, or other healthcare professions. This role provides hands-on clinical experience and exposure to orthopedic and sports medicine in a collaborative outpatient setting.
