Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin, a member of Therapy Partners Group, is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dedicated team in Novato, CA. The position offers $40–$44 per hour depending on experience and licensure status.

You will assist physical therapists with treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, patient education, and documentation, while maintaining a collaborative, professional atmosphere and a strong focus on exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree as PTA from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as PTA.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
