Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is hiring a Physical Therapy Aide to support clinicians and front desk operations across multiple San Diego clinics. You’ll assist patients, prep equipment, manage records, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient therapy environment.

This float role travels to South & Central San Diego clinics, with a full-time schedule from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Compensation ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, based on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; healthcare training is a plus.
• Prior healthcare setting or Physical Therapy Aide experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by addressing patient needs.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas per therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with tasks: calls, document scanning, scheduling, payments, filing.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment; daily cleaning and stocking.

About The Role

Additional Details

• Brand: Spine & Sport Physical Therapy
• Pay: $18-20/hr (based on experience & skill set)
• Schedule: Full time - clinic is open M-F 7am-6pm
• Location: 675 Saturn Blvd, San Diego, CA 92154
• this is a float role that will require travel to our clinics in South & Central San Deigo *

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.
