Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapy Aide in Palo Alto, CA. The role focuses on providing exceptional customer service and administrative support while assisting therapists and patients during sessions.

The position offers a part-time schedule of about 25 hours per week, with clinic hours Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm. A high school diploma and healthcare exposure are preferred, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare training is a plus.
• Prior healthcare experience or PT Aide background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Support clinic operations and patient needs with a friendly, service-oriented approach.
• Prepare therapy equipment and maintain treatment areas per therapist instructions.
• Maintain patient records, schedule appointments, and assist with billing duties.
• Assist front office tasks during downtime, including phones, scheduling, and charting.
• Aid therapists during sessions by providing materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapy Aide at PRN, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Brand: Cal Rehab & Sports Therapy

Pay: $18.70/hr

Schedule: Part-time 25hrs/per week - clinic is open M-F 7am-6pm

Location: 3441 Alma St Ste 200, Palo Alto, CA 94306

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.
