Premier Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is looking for a Physical Therapy Aide to work at our Pottstown, PA Physical Therapy office!

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Assist therapists in treating non-Medicare patients under supervision, including:
• Retrieving hot/cold packs
• Setting up exercise machines
• Monitoring exercise repetitions/form
• Cleaning up after patients and therapists
• Adhere to work schedules that may vary, including early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays
• Perform front desk duties such as answering phones, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, charge entry, and payments
• Handle laundry and ensure cleanliness of towels, gowns, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and treatment areas
• Attend monthly staff meetings or obtain notes if unable to attend
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education

• High school diploma required

Physical Demands

• Must have adequate physical strength to assist with resistive activities, classified as medium strength according to DOT
