Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) and its Family of Brands is hiring a Physical Therapy Aide at our Pasadena, CA clinic. The role focuses on patient support, front-desk tasks, and assisting therapists to create a smooth, welcoming visit.

You’ll help with equipment prep, record-keeping, scheduling, and light billing while maintaining a clean, organized therapy area. The position is open part-time/per diem, with a starting pay of $16.90 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare training is a plus.
• Prior healthcare experience or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Support clinic environment and patient needs with a friendly, helpful demeanor.

• Support front office tasks when downtime occurs (phone, scanning, scheduling).
• Aid therapists during sessions by providing materials and facilitating exercises.

About The Role

As a Physical Therapy Aide at PRN, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Details

• Pay: $16.90/hr (based on experience & skill set)
• Schedule: Part time/Per Diem - clinic is open M-F 7am-6pm
• Location: 2 N Lake Ave Ste 500, Pasadena, CA 91101

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.
