Spine & Sport Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to support patient transitions to therapy areas, assist with equipment preparation, and help maintain organized patient records. The role emphasizes strong communication and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare training is a plus.
• Prior healthcare setting experience preferred, especially as a PT Aide or similar role.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; detail-oriented with good organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients transitioning to therapy areas ensuring comfort and safety.
• Support front-office tasks when needed, including phone coverage and scheduling.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas per therapist instructions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.
