Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is hiring a part-time Physical Therapy Aide in Fountain Valley, CA. You will assist patients, prepare therapy areas, manage scheduling, and support front office tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare education is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive clinic environment by addressing patient needs during therapy transitions and providing customer service with a friendly demeanor.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with tasks when downtime occurs including answering the phone, scanning documents, scheduling patients, taking payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment through daily cleaning, laundry, and stocking supplies.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapy Aide at PRN, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Brand: Cal Rehab & Sports Therapy

Pay: $16.90/hr

Schedule: Part-time 25hrs/per week - M-F 7am-7pm

Location: 18785 Brookhurst St Ste 104, Fountain Valley, CA 92708

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.
