Job summary

ACCESS PT, a member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our New Fairfield, CT team.

You will help with room preparation, equipment setup, and patient support under supervision of a Physical Therapist. ACCESS PT offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sanitize treatment room for the patients
• Understand the uses of stationary bikes, pulley systems, exercise/medicine balls, plyometric boxes, rebounder, weight equipment, mobilization tables and benches, progressive resistive exercises as designed by the Physical Therapist
• Prepare equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packs
• Remove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patient bodies before and after treatment
• Assist physical therapy assistant and/or physical therapist to support patient during ambulation and gait training.
• Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public and all members of the healthcare team

Job Position:

Physical Therapy Aide

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sanitize treatment room for the patients

Salary Description:

$13.50 - $15.00/hour, based on experience
