ACCESS PT, a member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our New Fairfield, CT team. The role supports therapists by preparing treatment spaces and assisting with patient ambulation and therapy-related tasks.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Mansioni

• Prepare and sanitize treatment room for the patients.
• Understand uses of stationary bikes, pulley systems, exercise/medicine balls, plyometric boxes, rebounder, weight equipment, mobilization tables and benches, progressive resistive exercises as designed by the Physical Therapist.
• Prepare equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packs.
• Remove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patient bodies before and after treatment.
• Assist physical therapy assistant and/or physical therapist to support patient during ambulation and gait training.
• Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public and all members of the healthcare team.
