PRN and its Family of Brands are seeking a Physical Therapy Aide in Castro Valley, CA to provide outstanding customer service and administrative support, helping patients transition into therapy areas smoothly. Brand: Cal Rehab & Sports Therapy. Pay: $18.32/hr.

Schedule: Part time, clinic open Mon–Fri 7:30am–6pm. Location: 20211 Patio Dr., Castro Valley, CA 94546. Join a team focused on compassionate care and efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Contribute to a positive clinic culture and patient experience during transitions.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas per therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Support front office tasks when needed, including calls, scanning, scheduling, and payments.
• Aid therapists during sessions by providing materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment daily.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapy Aide at PRN, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Brand: Cal Rehab & Sports Therapy

Pay: $18.32/hr

Schedule: Part time - clinic is open M-F 7:30am-6pm

Location: 20211 Patio Dr. Castro Valley, CA 94546

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.
