Job description

About Us:

Since 1994, Rebound Physical Therapy has been a private practice dedicated to improving the quality of life for our patients through compassionate and effective physical therapy services. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants to join our amazing team!

Position Overview:

As a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic conditions. We provide one-on-one physical therapy treatments with no double booking. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that help our patients regain mobility, strength, and overall function.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. For Physical Therapist:
    • Evaluate patients' physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and best practice guidelines.
    • Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
    • Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, exercise techniques, and preventive measures.
    • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  2. For Physical Therapist Assistant:
    • Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans and administering therapeutic exercises.
    • Monitor patients during therapy sessions and provide encouragement and support.
    • Document patient outcomes and any changes in condition to the supervising PT.
    • Educate patients on home exercises and self-care strategies.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.

Qualifications:

  1. Physical Therapist:
    • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
    • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
    • Strong clinical assessment and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  2. Physical Therapist Assistant:
    • Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
    • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
    • Knowledge of treatment techniques and therapeutic modalities.
    • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
