Job summary

A community-focused healthcare provider in New York is currently hiring part-time and full-time NYS Certified Occupational Therapists for their home and community-based Early Intervention program. The role includes providing direct therapy to children aged 0-3, ongoing mentoring, and support for providers. Ideal candidates will have an NYS Occupational Therapy or OTA Certification and experience with young students is preferred. This position offers flexible scheduling and weekly pay periods, along with referral incentives.

Qualifications

• NYS Occupational Therapy Certificate or OTA Certification.
• Experience with young students under age 5 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children in home or community settings.
• Collect data and complete daily session notes to track progress.
• Provide families with information, skills, and support for child development.
• Conduct activities to enhance cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and motor skills.
• Collaborate with families and service providers to meet IFSP goals.
• Maintain progress reports and participate in related meetings.
