Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in Bakersfield, CA. The Physical Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with orthopedic, sports, neurological, and industrial-related conditions in an outpatient setting. Daily responsibilities include performing comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to improve functional mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. The role involves close collaboration with referring providers and other rehabilitation team members, ongoing documentation of patient progress, and regular communication with patients and caregivers about home exercise programs and long-term care strategies. The Physical Therapist will also contribute to patient education, support clinical programs such as aquatic or hand therapy as needed, and participate in professional development opportunities offered through Therapy Partners Group.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, including evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention skills.
• Strong foundation in Medicine and clinical reasoning to guide evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Commitment to high-quality Patient Care, including effective communication, patient education, and documentation standards.
• Ability to support patients in clinic and Home Care settings through clear instructions for home exercise programs and ongoing self-management.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program; active or eligible California PT license.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation in an outpatient, multidisciplinary environment.
• Interest in or willingness to participate in residency programs, mentorship, and leadership development opportunities.
• Prior outpatient orthopedic or sports therapy experience is beneficial but not required for motivated new graduates.
