Job summary

Ditmas Park Nursing & Rehab is seeking a Weekend Physical Therapist for our pediatric long-term care unit. The role focuses on providing patient-centered, high-frequency pediatric therapy to support mobility, function, and participation in daily activities, with a pay rate of $45-$52 per hour.

The successful candidate will deliver individualized plans, adapt treatments to progress, and work closely with families and the care team to ensure continuity of therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of practice.
• Inpatient pediatric experience, preferably with medically complex or high-acuity patients.
• Familiarity with ventilators and other respiratory support equipment.
• Knowledge of high-frequency intervention approaches and a genuine passion for this model of care.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and collaboration skills.
• Availability to work weekends.
