Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active Maine Physical Therapist license.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide skilled therapy services to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, coordination, and functional independence.
• Treat patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, stroke, neurological conditions, brain injury, or functional decline.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, safety, mobility, and home exercise programs.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Follow all facility, state, and federal guidelines.
