Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Current Maine Physical Therapist license.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and independence.
• Treat patients across post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care settings.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility, and safety.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
