Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for the VNA Rehab – Fairhaven, MA. This per diem position offers a day shift with flexible scheduling and travel averaging 3+ times per week to support local patients.

The role requires a Bachelors in Physical Therapy, MA and RI licenses, BLS/CPR, and at least one year of experience. Compensation is based on experience with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current MA & RI license required.
• BLS & CPR certification required.
• Proficient computer skills including experience with electronic records programs required.
• One year of experience required.
• Vaccination: influenza and COVID-19 or exemption with signed statement.
• Compensation: pay rate determined by experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services directed toward preventing disability and improving motor function.
• Maintain maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance within patient capabilities.
• Support the Rehab & Integrated Services Department under supervision.

We are searching for a talented Physical Therapist

Hours:Per Diem

Shift: Day shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm preferred, evening hours may work; Schedule days and times are flexible to agency needs and candidates availability.

Location: VNA Rehab – Fairhaven, MA

Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Program Director, Rehab & Integrated Services and the Clinical Nurse Manager or designee, perform duties to support and in support of the VNA Rehabilitation Department. Provide Physical Therapy services directed towards preventing disability, relieving pain, developing, improving or restoring motor function and maintaining maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance within the patient’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy is required.

• Current License in Physical Therapy in both MA & RI is required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR certification is also required.

• Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs is required.

• One (1) year of experience is required.

• Preferred MA and RI licensure that is reimbursed by employer for RI licensure.

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $40.80 - USD $61.72 /Hr.
