Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a talented Physical Therapist for the VNA Rehab - Fairhaven, MA location, per diem hours and daytime shifts with flexible scheduling.

The role requires MA and RI licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and at least one year of PT experience. Proficiency with electronic records systems and healthcare software is expected. Travel of three or more times per week is anticipated; compensation will be based on experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current License in Physical Therapy in both MA & RI is required.
• BLS & CPR certification is also required.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs.
• One (1) year of experience is required.
• Preferred MA and RI licensure that is reimbursed by employer for RI licensure.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt by signing a statement.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of the Program Director, Rehab & Integrated Services and the Clinical Nurse Manager or designee, perform duties to support and in support of the VNA Rehabilitation Department. Provide Physical Therapy services directed towards preventing disability, relieving pain, developing, improving or restoring motor function and maintaining maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance within the patient’s capabilities.

Hours:Per Diem

Shift: Day shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm preferred, evening hours may work; Schedule days and times are flexible to agency needs and candidates availability.

Location: VNA Rehab - Fairhaven, MA

Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required
