Job summary

PruittHealth in Pensacola, FL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and work toward restoring mobility and independence.

This role offers compensation up to $130,000 annually, with benefits, career growth, and a collaborative, patient-centered culture. New graduates welcome where applicable; state license required; experience in SNF, rehab or post-acute care preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current PT license in the state of practice (Florida).
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with orthopedic, neurological, and mobility-related conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Improve strength, balance, gait, endurance, and overall functional mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and modify interventions as needed.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and home exercise programs.
