Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Tallahassee team at 2301 Bluff Oak Way, Tallahassee, FL 32311. This role offers flexible scheduling (Full Time, Part Time or PRN) and compensation up to $130,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus up to $16,000.

We provide a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence. The PT will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, improve mobility, and collaborate with physicians and caregivers to achieve positive outcomes

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
New graduates welcome where applicable.
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients with orthopedic, neurological, and mobility-related conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Improve strength, balance, gait, endurance, and overall functional mobility.
Monitor patient progress and modify interventions as needed.
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and home exercise programs.
