Job summary

Flagship Therapy is actively seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel contract across 17 states, including Iowa. This unique, adventure-filled role places you with Ensign affiliates serving skilled nursing and post-acute care settings.

As a TheraTrooper, you'll work with in-house teams, receive mentorship as a new graduate, and have access to a common EMR/login and a company laptop. State license fees and CEUs are provided for each practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Effectively screens/evaluates patients in short-term and long-term rehab and outpatient settings
• Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide interventions
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment within PT plan of care
• Administers a wide variety of interventions based on individual patient needs
• Assesses patient progress and updates clinical records per regulatory requirements
• Provides counseling to patients, families, and caregivers related to physical disorders
• Communicates with OneClinical Team regarding patient progress and barriers
• Prepares comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical requirements

We are seeking Physical Therapists who are flexible to go anywhere to our affiliates in 17 states: Alaska, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Kansas, Alabama, Texas, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

This is not your average traveling therapy position!

Duties

• Effectively screens/evaluates patients within short-term and long-term rehab and opportunity for outpatient
• Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients within short and long-term settings
• Administers a wide variety of interventions as part of the plan of care based upon individual patient needs
• Assess patient’s progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the physical disorders
• Effectively communicates with the OneClinical Team regarding patient progress and barriers
• Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements
