Job summary

Flagship Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a travel contract role. The position supports therapy across 17 affiliated sites in multiple states, offering unique mentorship and access to CEUs with license fees provided for practice in Ensign affiliates.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the United States.
• Open to Occupational Therapists at all experience levels.
• Willingness to travel to affiliates across 17 states.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients in short-term and long-term rehab and outpatient settings.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment within plan of care.
• Administer diverse interventions based on individual patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans in the clinical record.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and other providers.
• Communicate patient progress with the OneClinical Team.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements.

We are seeking Occupational Therapists who are flexible to go anywhere to our affiliates in 17 states: Alaska, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Kansas, Alabama, Texas, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

This is not your average traveling therapy position!

Duties

• Effectively screens/evaluates patients within short-term and long-term rehab and opportunity for outpatient
• Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients within short and long-term settings
• Administers a wide variety of interventions as part of the plan of care based upon individual patient needs
• Assesses patient’s progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the physical disorders
• Effectively communicates with the OneClinical Team regarding patient progress and barriers
• Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements
