Baptist Health Rehab Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Coordinator for a full-time day position. The role involves evaluating and treating patients, developing treatment plans, setting goals, and educating patients and families as part of the plan of care.

The coordinator will supervise PT assistants, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and assist with education of students and staff while ensuring care meets regulatory and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in physical therapy
• Current license by the KY Board of Physical Therapy
• BLS within 30 days of hire

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and set goals
• Provide patient and family education as part of the treatment plan
• Complete documentation per state and hospital policies
• Educate affiliating students, PT staff, hospital staff, and community
• Delegate to and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians
• Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives
• Meet the needs of patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing, or mobility
