Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week StaffFlex contract in Rome, GA. The role offers a day shift, full-time hours, and a competitive pay rate of $75.00 per hour plus differentials.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, progress documentation, and patient education to support recovery goals. Qualifications include an entry-level PT competency, a DPT preferred, and basic PC skills.

Qualifications

• Entry level professional competency of Physical Therapy practices, theory and applications.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook, Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

• Establishes individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals.
• Discharges patients with appropriate follow-up recommendations and documentation.
• Documents patient care activities accurately in the medical record.

• Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.

Job Description:

Full-time; Mon-Fri: 8am - 5pm

No call

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations to assess patient conditions and progress.
• Establishes individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals.
• Discharges patients by completing necessary documentation and providing follow‑up recommendations.
• Documents patient care activities accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Charges for services rendered according to established billing procedures.
• Educates patients and caregivers about treatment plans, exercises, and home care instructions.
• Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities.
• Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
• Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Meets productivity standards defined by the department.
• Adapts to changes in patient census by adjusting work hours and assisting in other centers or programs as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
