Job summary

AdventHealth in Davenport, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist StaffFlex for acute care with daytime shifts. The role offers $52.50/hr plus differential, a schedule Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat 9a-7:30p, and no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include evaluating and re-evaluating patients, creating and adjusting individualized treatment plans, documenting care, educating patients, and maintaining clinical competencies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• PT license required (PT or PT-TEMP).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations to assess patient conditions and progress.
• Establishes individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals.
• Discharges patients by completing necessary documentation and providing follow-up recommendations.
• Documents patient care activities accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Charges for services rendered according to established billing procedures.
• Educates patients and caregivers about treatment plans, exercises, and home care instructions.
• Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities.
• Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
• Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Meets productivity standards defined by the department.
• Adapts to changes in patient census by adjusting work hours and assisting in other centers or programs as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
