A leading healthcare organization in Houston seeks a Physical Therapist to lead patient evaluations and interventions. The role requires a Transitional DPT or PhD in Physical Therapy and a Texas license. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience in an ambulatory setting. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing appointments, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Serves as a leader of change agent. Performs patient evaluations and administers interventions in department or ambulatory clinics. Performs related duties such as departmental performance improvement and clinical education, and serves as a clinical supervisor to assistant and support personnel. Also serves as a specialist to a program or product line. Adheres to practice acts, regulations, departmental policies and procedures, and documentation and reimbursement rules applicable to ambulatory care. Manages the patient appointment system and collaborates with the front office on service authorization, certification, and recertification. Demonstrates competence to adapt work and customer service to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and other developmental needs of patients.
