Physical Therapist - Inpatient

Position Overview: Our beautiful 420 bed hospital in Lancaster CA is currently seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in an inpatient setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in planning and implementing physical rehabilitative programs aimed at improving patient quality of life. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with patients in a dynamic outpatient environment.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions in an outpatient setting, assessing their functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and goals, incorporating evidence-based interventions, exercises, and manual techniques.
  • Implement treatment plans effectively, providing hands-on therapy and guidance to patients to facilitate functional improvement and pain management.
  • Educate patients on self-management techniques, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies to enhance their recovery and prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress reports to track treatment outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
  • Direct and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and/or Aides in delivering patient care, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
  • Previous experience in outpatient rehabilitation preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Setting: Inpatient - Physical Therapist

Status: Full Time

Pay: $50.75 - $60.89 /hr
