Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor plans to improve mobility, strength, balance and function.
• Utilize therapies such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to continue at home.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Document all treatment and progress notes accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
• Engage in continuing education to stay current in the field.
