Job summary

Search Station is seeking a Physical Therapist for a confidential long-term care facility in Chico, California. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary rehab team to deliver high-quality patient care on-site.

Responsibilities include documentation, supervision of rehab staff, and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Requires active PT license, Medicare knowledge, and ability to work Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with competitive hourly

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy curriculum.
• Current, active PT license — able to practice unencumbered.
• Knowledge of Medicare and payer sources.

Responsibilities

• Initiate evaluations per physician orders and payer guidelines.
• Develop and provide treatment plans aligned with benefit and reimbursement levels.
• Complete timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, summaries, and monthly reports.
• Educate staff and third-party payers on treatment benefits and outcomes.
• Supervise assistants and rehab aides in accordance with guidelines.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards and therapy goals.
