Job summary

Avera’s Therapy Center‑Aberdeen is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver daily therapy services to individuals and patient groups, implementing established treatment programs in line with department goals.

You will evaluate patients, develop and implement customized plans, coordinate with rehab, medical and nursing teams, document results, and communicate progress to patients and families. Licensure in SD required; 1–3 years preferred; sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Active license as Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• 1–3 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist.
• Ability to work hours specified; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients with data from records and team.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment programs.
• Provides direct therapy services and coordinates with care plans.
• Prepares evaluation results, treatment plans, progress notes.
• Communicates with patient, family, physician and team.
• Establishes rapport with interdisciplinary team.
• Engages in ongoing professional development.
