Job summary

Corewell Health's Pine Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center in Stevensville, MI is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and restore maximal function. The role requires collaboration with nurses and therapists to coordinate care and document progress.

You will educate patients and caregivers, implement evidence-based therapies, and participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Michigan upon hire.
• BLS certification either American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation procedures to assess disability and plan treatment.
• Provides a therapy program and education to restore maximal function.
• Documents evaluation and treatment in line with standards and reimbursement procedures.
• Instructs and trains rehabilitation staff and other personnel.
• Participates in process improvement, patient satisfaction initiatives, and program development.
