Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in accredited physical therapy program.
• Master’s Degree with 6 months of relevant experience plus licensure.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Michigan (MI) is required.
• Driver’s License for Michigan work location.
• BLS certification required on hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation procedures to assess disability level and plan treatment.
• Provides a treatment program to restore maximal function and educates patients.
• Documents evaluation and treatment per department standards and reimbursement rules.
• Instructs and trains rehabilitation staff and students regarding patient needs.
• Participates in process improvement, patient satisfaction initiatives and program development.
