Job summary

Mercy Union OP Location seeks a Physical Therapist to join a collaborative team serving adult and geriatric patients. Under supervision of Therapy Leadership, you will perform objective assessments and create individualized treatment programs designed to improve function and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience in Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, care for adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Deliver care consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards.
